Travis County District Attorney Ronnie Earle announced today that a grand jury has handed down five felony indictments--four against the Texas Association of Business and one against Texans for a Republican Majority--alleging over 128 counts of criminal activity involving the misuse of corporate money in the 2002 Texas elections. Earle announced the investigation into the 2002 elections remains ongoing.
