TPJ filed a lawsuit in Travis County Court today to compel the state to disclose the aggregate amount of taxpayer-funded pension money paid to ex-lawmakers who became revolving-door lobbyists. The Texas Comptroller and officials at the Employees Retirement System recently denied TPJ's request for the data.
